Arrived at La Guardia and checked in. They charged me $25 because my suitcase weighted 64.5 pounds instead of 50. However if I had two suitcases that weighted that much it would have been ok. By 8:45m, I had cleared security and was at the gate ready for my 11:30 am departure.
The flight to Miami did not include lunch as I expected. I could have bought a candy bar for $3, the type which I remember costing 10 cents. Next time I had better ask. By the time I got to Miami, I was starving. The LAN flight left from the complete opposite end of the airport; consequently I got me exercise! On the way I stopped at Sbarro and got something to eat.
