The female was 15 years old and the male 13.
The female had won an international championship.
She is a gold eagle (apparently there are many types of eagles).
The man is the 6
th generation hunter and has been breeding for 25 years.
They let a rabbit go and the eagle swoops down and hovers over the rabbit.
The trainer takes the rabbit and gives the eagle something else to eat.
When he attempted to do the same with the male, the rabbit ran over to us.
The eagle won’t attach where people are.
They tried a second time, but the rabbit staid with the people.
Finally they used a fox drag which eventually worked.
We were offered the opportunity to be photographed holding the eagle.
I declined.
