Silk Road - 18 May 2009 - Islamic Art Center
The first stop of the day was at the Islamic Art Center. I was unable to take pictures inside because no flash was permitted. I particularly enjoyed some dioromas that they had which illustrated Turkish life in the past. They showed life in a yurt, which incidentally means home as well, and life in villages.
