Silk Road - 19 May 2009 - Almati's Independence Square
We had lunch back at the hotel. It was acceptable, but nothing special. After lunch, we went to Independence Square. I didn’t get very good pictures, but I did observe an awful lot of construction going on. Bora suggested that economy here was booming and a lot of people came looking for work.
