Silk Road - 19 May 2009 - Dinner in a Yurt

We tried to take the cable car to the high point in the city, but the cable car was closed for maintenance. We then headed up to the mountains where we saw the ice skating rink in which a lot of world records were broken. We were supposed to walk up to where a ski lift was located, but I realized that it would be too much for me. After everyone came down, we had dinner in a Yurt. The meal included horse which I didn’t sample. They also served lamb over some kind of noodles as well as starting with several different kinds of salads. We were also shown a small museum that they maintain. All in all an interesting experience. Ice Skating Arena where many world's records were broken
