The scenery along the road was magnificent. We stopped once in Neum. Apparently when Dubrovnik was an independent state, they sold five miles of coast to the Turks to provide a buffer against the Venetian empire. The result is that this five mile stretch is now part of Bosnia-Herzogovinia. We passed through the border north of Neum out of Croatia and five miles later we re-entered Croatia. Since it was dark when we got to Dubrovnik, we were taken to the high point to see the lights of Dubrovnik. I tried to take a picture. Unfortunately it didn’t work.
Dinner was at the hotel and I’m exhausted!
